HOLT CAT is proud to announce the completion of our latest class of HOLT Ready Technicians!
We're thrilled to announce the successful completion of the latest class of our HOLT Ready Tech program! This innovative initiative provides a comprehensive training program designed to equip new recruits with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive as Level 1 technicians at HOLT CAT.
The HOLT Ready Tech program is a 12-week intensive program that combines classroom instruction with valuable on-the-job training (OJT). Participants receive a strong foundation in key areas:
Week 1: Onboarding and Orientation
Week 2: Technician Basics and Safety
Week 3: Electricity Fundamentals
Week 4-5: 80 hours of OJT Mentor Training in Shop
Week 6: Diesel Engine Fundamentals
Week 7: Caterpillar C4.4/C6.6 and Caterpillar C27/C32 Diesel Engines
Week 8-10: 120 Hours of OJT Mentor Training in Shop
Week 11: Caterpillar 3500 and 3500E Repair and Maintenance
Week 12: Electrical Arc Flash/NFPA 70E Training and Caterpillar Electrical Power 1
