If you live in Texas, you know about the historic drought that began a few years ago. It’s costing billions of dollars, and many communities are struggling to maintain adequate supplies of clean affordable water. We’re still waiting for rain, but we don’t have to wait for help.

The 83rd Texas Legislature passed a package of water legislation that will set up a revolving loan program available to local governmental entities – such as municipalities – sponsoring local water projects
Proposition 6, which will appear on ballots November 5, 2013, will provide for a one-time investment of $2 billion for a revolving fund to help capitalize a loan program for governmental entities that must be paid back.
If you are a registered Texas voter, please support this important initiative. It’s critical to our state’s future and to the economic well-being of Texas businesses.

So please get out and vote for Prop. 6 and keep praying for rain!
