SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Feb. 24, 2016) – HOLT CAT® (www.holtcat.com), the Caterpillar® Equipment and Engine dealer for South, Central, North and Northeast Texas, recently named Corinna Holt Richter executive vice president/chief administrative officer, and Peter John Holt executive vice president/general manager.
Richter will lead administrative divisions including human resources, safety, information technology, organizational development, facilities management, continuous improvement, environmental, legal, marketing and strategy.
Richter, who joined HOLT in 2011, previously was general parts manager and senior vice president of product support sales. She earned a bachelor of arts degree from Vanderbilt University and participated in an extensive executive business training program at New York University.
In his new role, Peter John Holt will be responsible for all enterprise operating divisions, including HOLT CAT, HOLT AgriBusiness, Texas First Rentals, HOLT Crane & Equipment and Sitech Tejas. Previously, he was vice president of commercial engine sales and senior vice president, diversified businesses. He received a bachelor of arts degree in General Business from the University of the Incarnate Word, where he earned membership in the Delta Mu Delta International Business Administration Honor Society.
“These appointments are part of our succession planning initiative to maintain strong, stable leadership as we move into the next Holt generation who, together, will lead our company in the future,” said Peter M. Holt, HOLT CAT CEO.
Richter and Holt, the daughter and son of Peter M. Holt, will continue to report to HOLT CAT President and COO Dave Harris. Corinna and Peter John are fifth generation descendants of Benjamin Holt who, in 1904, developed the first successful track-type tractor which he named the “Caterpillar.”
