When customers reach out to HOLT, whether that’s on the phone, through online chat, or via email, there’s a team of employees on the other end who are eager to meet their needs. HOLT is proud to have Becky Casanova, an employee of five years, providing legendary customer service each and every day.

Casanova serves as a Marketing Sales Support Coordinator and is responsible for responding to requests on live chats, answering phones in HOLT’s call center, and responding to website inquiries. No matter the form of communication, Casanova has the answers.

“Customers have a wide range of questions and it’s my job to point them in the right direction,” Casanova said. “Helping them in a timely manner and providing that legendary customer service is what we do here at HOLT and it’s always satisfying.”

Despite working in a male-dominated industry, Casanova never feels out of place. Her knowledge and expertise is evident in every conversation and it shines through in her work.

“As a woman in the construction industry, I am confident in the skills I have developed. I have to be an expert when it comes to our equipment, parts and services, that’s how I’ve earned the trust of our customers,” she said. “Time is money for them, it’s necessary to communicate clearly and resolve their issues quickly.”

Casanova credits these communication skills to her mentors and colleagues at HOLT. The knowledge she’s gained from the people around her has been invaluable and she sees a future where she’d like to grow and ultimately take on a management role.

Outside of work, Casanova enjoys spending time with her two children and giving back to the community through her involvement with church.

She takes pride in everything she does and it’s why Casanova has found success in her current role. She is a critical line of communication and hopes to continue to see women in the construction industry.

“There are so many things that women can do in this line of work, we can wear a hard hat just as well as a man can,” Casanova said. “One message I’d have for women who are considering getting into this industry is don’t be afraid. It’s a predominantly male business, but don’t fear setbacks. There’s a place for women at HOLT and in the industry.”
