Kristi Redus and her daughter Jennifer Perez At HOLT CAT, a divison of HOLT Group, we’re proud of our family atmosphere. One great example of that is Kristi Redus and her daughter, Jennifer Perez. Kristi has been with HOLT Group for 24 years, starting in a secretary role before transitioning into a Credits and Collections Administrator within Financial Services. Since then, she’s risen into various lead roles and is currently a Credit Collections Representative.
Jennifer joined HOLT CAT in 2018 as a Sales Support Coordinator. Her expertise in the role led to a promotion to Retail Sales Coordinator, and the skills and knowledge she gained during that time allowed her to successfully transition into the Future Ready HOLT (FRH) team. Today, she’s a Product Business Analyst.
Neither Kristi nor Jennifer planned on a career in construction equipment, but through Kristi’s positive experience at HOLT, they learned that they could be successful supporters of the industry without needing technical expertise. As Jennifer says, watching her mom’s journey “motivated me to learn what I could do there and how I can contribute at a company like this.”
Kristi is incredibly proud of Jennifer’s ability to demonstrate our Values-Based Leadership. “Jennifer is going to be somebody at HOLT one day because she exemplifies the HOLT Values,” Kristi says. “She has the desire to do more and thrives in this culture.”
Jennifer believes she wouldn’t be the person she is today without her mom as a role model. “You can tell a child all day the right way to behave, but it comes down to what they see,” she says. She admires her mom for always being present, kind, and providing constant support to her, her brother, and all their friends. “You can’t choose your mom… I am just proud of who my Mom is and to call her Mom.”
Since joining HOLT CAT, Jennifer has started a family of her own. Her son is now five years old, and he loves “jamming to 90’s hits with his Titi, Kristi.” As their family grows, Jennifer and Kristi will continue to model the HOLT Values for the future generation.
