Frank has been with Texas First Rentals for six years and has supported the opening of several different branches in North Texas. He currently serves as the Branch Manager for the Texas First Rental location in Burleson.  Frank expressed an abundance of gratitude for the benefits that HOLT has to offer and stating that, “the Holt Family has always been very generous.” When his son, Connor, left the military, he was unsure of what he should do next for a career. In addition to the benefits and pay that HOLT has to offer, Frank conveyed the abundance of opportunities available with the continuous expansion of the company. He said, “Because HOLT has so many entities you have a lot of different opportunities to grow. You just get here, build your brand, see what opportunities come up, and you’ll be ready for it.”

In 2022, Connor joined HOLT CAT as a Parts Warehouse Clerk in Irving. After serving in that role for about two years, he became curious about the other entities of HOLT Group. He saw a position become  available and successfully transferred to Texas First Rentals where he currently serves as a Wash Rack Technician. Connor expressed an immense amount of gratitude for the flexibility to try new things within the same organization. He said, “if the opportunity presents itself in the future, I can move back over to the HOLT CAT side or another entity. The opportunities for growth make it so desirable to stay [with HOLT Group]”.
Although HOLT Group has 10 different entities within the organization, the employees are easily able to come together through a common language. This language is built upon the HOLT Values Based Leadership model that defines success in terms of managing by a set of ethical values. This model is taught through a variety of soft skills courses that are available to all employees. Frank and Connor have learned to apply this model at the office and at home. Frank shared that even though, “Connor is in a different market area and different style store than I am, but the language is always the same.” Connor expressed that having a common language, “helps it all connect… I feel like, regardless of where I go with this company, it is going to help me become a better employee and, eventually, a better leader. Just like my dad is.”

We are grateful to have leaders like Frank and Connor to be champions of the HOLT Values Based Leadership culture. We look forward to watching them support their team in a very real way by using these tools for making daily decisions in their job.
