Will and Tim Pyle
Outside of work, Tim has always had a passion for finding older vehicles and giving them new life. At home, you could find him in the garage turning wrenches and tuning up his latest project. His son, William, grew up watching his dad work and became fascinated by the process. Over time Will grew to have the same passion for working on trucks as his father. So much so that when William was 10 years old, he and his dad bought a 1966 Ford F100 to be their first project together. The intent for the truck was for it to become Will’s first vehicle that he would drive after his 16th birthday. William shared that over the course of the six years working on the truck developed his excitement for working on trucks. He stated, “That truck started a lot of things for me and open the door to this hobby and career.”
In 2022, William joined HOLT Truck Centers in 2022 as a college intern. During his time as an intern, he demonstrated a desire to learn, commitment to support his team, and drove the Ford F100 to work. William’s passion for turning wrenches with trucks only grew stronger during this time. Once William finished school, he was promoted to a full-time technical role and enjoys supporting the new interns as they are learning.
As William was growing up, Tim did not expect his passions to become those for his son. Tim stated, “as a parent you want to find a way to make memories with your kids… I was fortunate that William wanted to do the same thing I like doing.” He shared that having a common interest made it easy to create those memories. He said, “the cars are fun, but the memories are why I do it”. Tim expressed feeling proud of the young man that William has turned out to be, and his commitment to pursuing his passions. We look forward to seeing how William and Tim continue to further their career at HOLT.
