On Saturday, September 26, about 100 HOLT volunteers joined Respite Care of San Antonio and the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County for a Stronger Together volunteer event, part of United Way’s Day of Caring.

Since 1987, Respite Care of San Antonio has provided safe, specialized care for children with special needs and complex medical conditions. Its programs include developmental childcare with nursing care, respite services that give families a much-needed break, and the only licensed 24/7 residential home in Texas dedicated to these children.
