Capitol Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) has just opened a grant round for Central Texas fleets. Eligible diesel nonroad equipment and onroad trucks can receive a grant of up to 25% of replacement cost. Equipment or trucks must operate more than 50% in Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, Williamson or Bexar Counties. The due date for applications is September 5. For more information contact your Central Texas HOLT CAT sales representative, or go to www.capcog.org.
The next Texas Emissions Reduction Plan grant round is expected to open in early September. The grants will subsidize the replacement of diesel non-road equipment and on-road trucks with cleaner diesel or alternative-fueled equipment or trucks. HOLT CAT has helped our customers receive millions of dollars in TERP grants in past years, helping them pay for new equipment and trucks while reducing emissions and improving air quality.
