Travis Cox, Sales and Business Development Manager, HOLT Manufacturing in Waco, brings an interesting mix of experience to HOLT. He was recently in the United States Marine Corps and currently trains in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, earning himself a blue belt. Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is a self-defense martial art based on grappling, ground fighting, and submission holds. The blue belt ranking takes hundreds of hours of mat time and a minimum of two years before advancing to the next level. A wide breadth of technical knowledge is imparted during the blue belt stage. Travis hopes to enter a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu competition next year to continue to gain experience and work towards his next advancement.

Travis holds an MBA from Texas Tech University. He also previously worked as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the San Antonio Spurs and served as the Executive Director of a non-profit veteran’s organization, focusing on assisting veterans and their families to regain a healthy lifestyle by providing top-of-the line workout equipment, gym memberships, life coaching and counseling. Travis, his wife Jenna, and their two dogs live in Georgetown where they enjoy all things outdoors and being active in their church.
